- Look from the ground. Check for dented vents, dinged AC fins, shingle granules on the driveway, missing shingles and fallen limbs.
- Check inside. Look at ceilings and the attic for new stains or drips.
- Protect the inside. Put a bucket or tarp under any drip and move belongings out of the way.
- Take dated photos of what you see, inside and out.
